Migrant Kids – materials for parents

Navigating a new educational system in a foreign country can present unique challenges for families. As part of the European Union-cofunded “Migrant Kids at School” project – spanning Poland, Czechia, Italy, Cyprus, and the Netherlands – we have developed a dedicated series of video information packages to support migrant parents.
These video guides offer practical, easy-to-understand explanations of local school procedures, legal regulations, administrative rules, and educational culture across all partner countries. To ensure every family receives the support they need, the video pack is available in English and/or local languages in each country.
What you will learn from these videos:
- School Enrollment & Systems: How local schools function and how to register your child.
- Local Rules & Rights: Navigating school regulations, attendance, and administrative procedures.
- Daily School Culture: Tips for communicating with teachers and supporting your child’s adaptation.
